The Bahamas are a flats fishing paradise. We have two spectacular trip options. Details will be announced if we are able to host trips in 2021.
1. Swain's Cay
Your trip to Swain's Cay Lodge on Andros Island is a traditional flats fishing adventure. Your guide take two anglers per boat to fish the flats for bonefish, permit, tarpon and other species. We've been offering trips to Swain's for more than five years, and they take great care of us. The staff treat us like family. We've worked with the same group of professional guides, and they are the best available on Andros. Your trip includes one night's lodging in Nassau and the transfer flight from Nassau to Andros Island. Our stay at Swain's Cay Lodge is all-inclusive except for alcohol, guide tips and airfare to and from Nassau. Trip dates are normally scheduled for late April through early May.
2. Long Island Flats
This is an assisted "do-it-yourself" trip at Long Island Bonefishing Lodge. The lodge is at the water's edge on Deadman's Cay. The format of an “assisted” day consists of a guide picking up guests at the lodge dock and transporting you by boat (3 - 10 minute ride) to a particular flat or set of flats where the guide will first instruct you on how to fish a particular flat, how the tides will influence the fishing during the day and what flies and strategies to use. You'll walk and wade the flats sight casting to feeding fish. The guide will remain on the flats at all times. Anglers will have walkie talkies so they can be in contact with the boat at all times and if necessary the guide will move you to another flat if you are not having success. Our stay is all-inclusive except for alcohol, guide tips and airfare.
